Cypress Technology (hereinafter referred to as CYP) at the OPTO Taiwan 2021 from December 21 to 23, collaborates with ecosystem partners, Jorjin and Peergiant, to exhibit its strength in medical imaging integration solutions as well as smart operating rooms, medical training centers with CYP’s obtained intel-certified medical embedded products, and Jorjin’s AR smart glasses.

In recent years, advanced medical imaging has been highly developed and digitized, which has improved the accuracy and convenience of medical diagnosis, prompting the global medical community to quickly exchange surgical techniques and methods. In addition to the traditional two-dimensional imaging of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, three-dimensional (3D) imaging has gradually entered as a part of medical care importance. Jorjin’s AR smart glasses and CYP display the 3D mode (side by side) in this exhibition, which allows medical users to more easily and clearly examine medical images, to accelerate surgical procedure improvement and increase surgical efficiency. Necessary integration of high-end medical imaging and medical institution information has also grown rapidly.

The medical embedded products that were provided by CYP can simultaneously handle multiple image source switching, data capturing, video recording, and content playback, without distortion or information loss. In addition, it supports medical displays for multiview and multiple image switching, streaming of real-time presentation, and high-resolution undistorted images of the operation process, as supplemented by preoperative diagnostic images and vital signs. Moreover, surgeons can wear Jorjin’s AR smart glasses during the operation to synchronously share high-quality images of the operation, present the surgeon’s field of vision and movements, record the surgical procedure, and stream consultations in time, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the surgical procedure without space limitation through the recording. In terms of medical communication, surgeons can also interact with the medical remote and backstage from the first-person perspective to help accelerate telemedicine and teaching applications and promote the integration as well as the transformation of digital medical care.

In the future, CYP will collaborate with ecosystem partners, Jorjin and Peergiant, to develop a variety of innovative technologies, such as the Internet of Things and Metaverse applications, combined with CYP’s imaging techniques to integrate complete solutions that can be applied in various fields. Deploying a new era of smart healthcare.
