Pro AV equipment manufacturer Cypress Technology was
recently invited to participate in the Taiwan Apple Smart Home Designers
Conference THDC (Taiwan HomeKit Designers Conference) in Syntrend Life Park. (https://www.syntrend.com.tw/)
CYP has joined the ranks of promoting the Apple HomeKit
ecosystem. It’s hoped that a variety of industry partners can communicate with
each other through this annual meeting and jointly promote the development of
the industry.
CYP showcased one of its Pro AV products, the
CPLUS-421PLV. This product is a UHD 4 input, 3 output, HDMI/HDBaseT matrix with
built-in amplifier. It provides high-quality video and audio, including support
for 12-bit HDR, Dolby Vision, and ARC. It’s suitable for both home and business
installations. The CPLUS-421PLV provides inputs for up to 4 HDMI signal
sources, which can, for example, be simultaneously extended to displays located
in a living room, kitchen, and bedroom of the home, allowing users to enjoy a
flexible and unrestrained viewing experience. Notably, over the HDBaseT
outputs, video can be extended up to 70 meters at 1080p@60Hz, and 35 meters at
4K@60Hz.
In addition, the CPLUS-421PLV includes an IR signal
learning function allowing it to replace the remote controls of each signal
source, and display, connected to it. Realizing this level of function
integration, which allows one device to remotely control multiple devices,
greatly improves the feeling of convenience.
The CPLUS-421PLV also supports being controlled via mobile
devices with its exclusive app (supporting iOS and Android systems). After
downloading and configuring the small app, a user can simply pick up their mobile
device at home and start controlling the devices connected to the unit. The first
step towards realizing the convenience of the smart home life.
The control tentacles of CYP products have recently extended
towards the integration of home theaters. The CPLUS-421PLV’s built-in amplifier
can provide up to 40 Watts of power (20W per channel) and clean, high-quality, audio
which is suitable for building a small home theater. In recent years, CYP has
developed a diversified range of integration solutions. Many of these products have
been widely used in meeting rooms, classrooms, medical venues, and commercial
venues. Simultaneously integrating the core video equipment at an installation along
with peripheral equipment such as projectors, projection screens, lights, curtains,
etc. achieving intelligent automation at the installation site.
