Combining Professional AV and Naked-eye 3D to Expand Medical Imaging

Cypress Technology’s 4K Naked-eye 3D Medical Image PC has won the Bronze Award for "Cross-Disciplinary Excellence” at the 2026 Taipei Biotech Awards. This award highlights Cypress’s success in bringing ProAV technology into the medical field.

By combining ProAV processing, naked-ye 3D display, and built-in AI computing, this system lets healthcare teams view realistic 3D medical images with clear depth without needing 3D glasses. It opens up new ways to use medical images, from planning before surgery and sharing views during surgery, to recording and teaching after surgery.

Giving the Team a Second View in the Operating Room

Surgical images do more than help for surgeons to perform an operation, they also help the rest of the team communicate and learn. The 4K Naked-eye 3D Medical Image PC easily connects to compatible 3D endoscopes, surgical robots, and surgical microscopes to display 3D images in real time. This helps assistant doctors, nurses, and observers clearly see spatial depth and tool placement.

Its all in one design reduces extra cables and equipment to save space and make moving it easy. At the same time, its open platform makes it simple to connect with hospital software systems and add new AI applications down the road.

Supporting Care Before, During, and After Surgery

Medical images are useful far beyond the moment of surgery. The 4K Naked-eye 3D Medical Image PC supports healthcare teams across every stage of patient care:

·         Before Surgery (Planning): Uses software to turn CT scans and other data into 3D models. Teams can look at these models to discuss tumor locations, surrounding anatomy, and surgical steps.

·         During Surgery (Collaboration): Shares live 3D images with the entire room, giving everyone a clear view of the surgical area to improve teamwork and observation.

·         After Surgery (Teaching): Captures, records, and saves video so teams can review cases, train students, and share insights at medical conferences.

CYP actively tests this system with medical equipment partners and teaching hospitals worldwide. Real world feedback helps us refine the product and create new ways to use it.

Working Together Across Industries

Winning this award recognizes CYP’s hard work in combining different technologies. From design and manufacturing to sales and support, every team played a role in turning ideas into a practical product. CYP shares this honor with all our employees, partners, and supporters.

Moving forward, CYP will keep building strong partnerships with system integrators, medical device makers, and AI developers. Together, we will create custom medical image solutions that bring cross-disciplinary innovation to more hospitals and clinics.
