This 4K60 USB-C/HDMI over HDBaseT Wallplate Transmitter uses HDBaseT 3.0, the newest generation of HDBaseT technology, and is the perfect solution for extending full bandwidth (18Gbps, 4K@60Hz 4:4:4) video signals with HD audio via a single run of Cat.6A/7 cable over distances of up to 40 meters. Signal management features, such as automatic source switching based on input signal detection, enable convenient hands-free operation. Multiple control and data signals may also be transmitted along with the audio and video, including IR, RS-232, and USB 3.0. Additionally, the inclusion of HDMI with USB-B and USB-C connections as its inputs allows for the combination of video, audio, and USB over a single cable from the connected source device, greatly enhancing installation practicality. The wallplate is designed for use with US single-gang sized enclosures. This transmitter is ideal for use in any video extension scenario, especially when latency-free, uncompressed, high resolution video is critical, such as medical installations, live conferences, and education.

When paired with this unit's standard receiver, a total of 3 selectable USB host (Type-B/C) connections are available (2 on the transmitter, 1 on the receiver) for connecting a single USB host (such as a laptop or PC) to devices on up to 3 USB (Type-A) ports (1 on the transmitter, 2 on the receiver) forming a highly flexible comprehensive USB over IP functionality extension configuration (Note: Only 1 USB host may be active at a time). All USB ports on the transmitter support up to USB 3.0 data transfer speeds.
